Part Time On-Air Talent/Graphic Web Designer X-107.5 Kxte Las Vegas has an opening for a Part Time On-Air Talent/Graphic Web Designer. All applicants must have a strong speaking voice, and possess knowledge of the format, lifestyle, and music. Responsibilities include running a broadcast board, on air announcing, following music logs, maintaining commercial and broadcast logs, executing all EAS and FCC regulations. Production skills a plus! Assist Sr. Web Developer with website content maintenance, edits, updates and compose web product; ensure quality, timely production; and transcribe special programs. 2-4 years experience designing for the web; Able to work in the PC/Windows environment; Superior design skills in terms of color, typography, texture, visual effects and image overlays; Strong understanding of web usability concepts such as navigation, architecture and consistency across all pages; Must know how to hand-code HTML and CSS from scratch. Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and ImageReady; Basic ActionScript knowledge to integrate mouse events and preloaders; Communications and multitasking skills are a must. We work in a very fast-paced environment, so you must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with motion graphic video including After Effects, Final Cut Pro, iMovie and Flash is a plus. All applicants must submit a demo/air check and resume.
