Employment Opportunity Executive Producer (Entertainment/Informational Talk Show) KTNV-TV Las Vegas Shift: Full-time; Exempt Education: College degree preferred; Broadcast Journalism or Communication emphasis preferred. Skills: Candidate must have strong writing, exceptional storytelling skills, organizational skills; experience producing long-format programming; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work closely with others under deadline pressure; knowledge of general broadcast operations; must be experienced at video editing, Apple Final Cut Pro and Grass Valley Edius experience a plus; also be able to motivate and delegate; strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills essential. Must have computer skills, web experience a plus. Pre-production planning leadership skills a plus. Experience: Minimum of three years producing experience; previous entertainment information program experience preferred. Duties: Responsible for the overall production of the program; approve scripts; provide detailed direction to other staff; work directly with the sales staff, clients and community organizations to determine topics, themes and production of the show; edit segments as required; supervise the daily duties of the production team; act as the liaison between the program and the other departments at the station such as news, traffic, sales, graphics, engineering and marketing; ability to make on air appearances as needed a plus; oversee special projects as assigned; place video and story material on website; other duties as assigned by manager.
