Employment Opportunity Primary Host (Entertainment/Informational Talk Show) KTNV-TV Las Vegas, NV Scheduled Days & Hours: Fulltime: Exempt Education: College degree preferred; Broadcast Journalism or Communication emphasis preferred. Skills: Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent delivery skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work well under pressure; strong in-person interviewing skills and on-air presentation; must have strong writing and production skills; excellent presentation and reportorial skills; must be able to work well under pressure and with others to develop and execute compelling programming; must have computer skills, web experience is a plus, must be self motivated and creative. Experience: Minimum of three to five years on-air hosting experience preferred. Duties: Primary host of entertainment-information talk show; the show’s primary host will conduct on-air interviews and facilitate product and venue demonstrations; be responsible for any pre-interviews with guests that need to be done prior to recording segments; in addition to his or her on-air duties, the primary host will assist in any research and segment prep required by the Executive Producer; any pre-taped segments or off-site interviews will be coordinated and conducted by the primary host as assigned by the Executive Producer; make public appearances/community involvement; front station promos; other duties as directed by management. File video and stories to the website as directed by Producer and Executive Producer.
