Financial Analyst Las Vegas, NV Employment Status: Full-time; Exempt Education: College degree; Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem solving abilities; excellent analytical skills; strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills essential; computer proficiency; proficiency in Microsoft Office products with particular emphasis on Excel. Familiarity with other reporting software is helpful. Must be able to work in a challenging environment and meet tight deadlines. Experience: Minimum of three years in an analyst role preferred with three (3) years’ experience in public accounting and/or any combination of experience, education and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required. A CPA is also highly desirable. Duties: Responsible for profit planning and forecasting; updating Key market indicators; provide Revenue analysis; strategic partner with General Manager and Sales Managers. Analyze and report on the profitability by day parts; review, analyze, track and report on the progress of developmental and interactive revenue; responsible for Political revenue compliance review. Know and understand every vendor contract; track and analyze the impact that expenses have on the budget. Develop the current year and five capital plan which will include return on investment analysis; prepare the Hungerford and Miller Kaplan report; recommend changes in financial policies and procedures, as necessary.
