Telecommunications Specialist II Starting salary range $27.07 - $29.85/hr. Primary duties: Installation, repair, and operation of television broadcast systems, Video over IP systems, video servers, traffic, automation, distribution systems, ENG field gear, analog and digital production equipment. Quals: HS grad or equiv., 4 yrs. exp in support of telecommunication computer systems and the installation, maintenance, and operation of current television technology broadcast equipment; or 2 yrs college courses in computer science or electronic engineering from an accredited college or university; and 2 yrs exp. as outlined above. Preferred quals: Strong background in networking technology in a broadcast facility. Experience with ATSC broadcast and Video over IP systems, satellite technology, SBE cert. and/or FCC license, strong analytical abilities, ability to carry out tasks independently in a professional, timely manner, manage large projects within a multi-station environment.
