| Construction in Nevada has dropped an alarming 90% over the past two years. On this program host Bob Fisher talked with Art Nader-Public Information Officer for the Nevada State Contractors Board and with George Lyford-Director of Investigations for the board. They discussed a variety of topics with Bob. There are a lot of people out of work in the construction industry, when can we expect a turnaround. They discussed the decline of building permits throughout the state and the many serious problems with unlicensed contractors and the impact these individuals have had with businesses and home owners.
What can we expect in 2010 from the Nevada State Contractors Board and what changes
are on the way that could effect the entire state. |

| A Conversation with B. Taylor |
| This was an inspiring story about a young man who’s dream has become a reality. Host
Bob Fisher had an indepth conversation with B. Taylor….a Hip Hop Artist who is not only an accomplished vocalist but also writes songs, produces songs and records the
songs. His Hip Hop music reflects positive ideas into the minds of Hip Hop lovers. He
works with young adults to educate about the positive things in life. He has recorded
several Hip Hop songs that have become quite popular in the music industry. B. Taylor
has been compared to Stevie Wonder and has many of the recording industry giants
on his side and helping him along. He sings one of his famous songs on the program
entitled “Let’s Get This Party Started”. B. Taylor, an inspiration to all America’s young
adults. |

| Remembering Helen Keller |
| During this program, Betty Hammond-Relay Nevada Administrator used sign language
to communicate with Kathy Bennett-Director of the Las Vegas Charter School of the
Deaf. There were periods of silence during the program when Betty was communicating
questions to Kathy from host Bob Fisher. The Charter School of the Deaf was created
to assist the deaf, hard of earing, deaf and blind and speech disabled Nevadans. Relay
Nevada is a free service that provides full telephone accessibility to these disabled in-
dividuals. They can use Relay Nevada to make telephone calls to family, businesses or
anyone in the world. Relay Nevada operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. They
discussed how modern technology has had an incredible effect in helping the disabled
live a normal life…being able to communicate without restrictions.

| Kate Marshall-Legs |
| Special guest Nevada State Treasurer Kate Marshall talked with host Bob Fisher about
the financial crisis facing the state. Kate discussed the state budget and it’s current
deficit. She discussed the educational budget and how it will effect the school districts throughout the state, the funding of highway projects, government buildings, bridge repairs, Medicaid, Welfare funding and unemployment compensation. Kate said the
state still has legs to stand on and was very optimistic about the financial future of the Silver State. |

| A Visit with Jack Close |
| Host Bob Fisher spoke with Jack about his two terms in the Nevada State Legislature
and what he managed to accomplish while serving in that office. They talked about
the upcoming election in 2010 and the credibility of candidates running for office.
Jack briefly touched on his family and co-workers. The main focus of his visit was to
discuss Physical Therapy and how, with the new modern techniques, people are re-
covering from auto accidents, sports injuries, back ailments and other forms of body
aches through Physical Therapy. He has been serving the State of Nevada Residents
for over 40 years and is a native of the state.
